The 1950s and 60s were an era defined by optimism, curved silhouettes, and a warmth in everyday objects that modern minimalism often leaves behind. This project set out to bring that spirit back into the kitchen.

The client wanted a toaster that felt like a small piece of nostalgia — rounded corners, a soft color palette, and chrome-like details reminiscent of mid-century American diners — while still meeting the expectations of a modern kitchen appliance.

The challenge was striking a balance: retro enough to feel authentic, but refined enough not to feel like a costume. Every curve and proportion was tuned to read as "vintage-inspired" rather than "vintage replica."
